EDGE FEST
What does it mean to be an architect in 2025? What new challenges do we face? What social, ecological, and technological changes are currently unfolding? What defines the aesthetics of our time, and what ideas do new formal experiments express?
Is building necessary at all? And if so, in what form, with what tools, and for whom? What will the society of the future look like, and how can architecture relate to it? How can a building designed for longevity respond to these transformations? What opportunities do architects have if they take today’s challenges seriously?
These and many other pressing questions will be explored at the EDGE 2025 Architecture Festival, which serves as a conference, social event, and awards ceremony. The Budapest-based EDGE Fest 2025 addresses progressive and forward-thinking topics on both regional and European levels, while the accompanying award supports these ambitions.
